A compact route to solar, storage and backup control.

The EVO platform is offered in several inverter power variants. The correct version must match the property supply, solar-array design, DNO position and the loads intended for EPS operation.

Backup performance depends on the exact model, battery state of charge and connected loads. It should never be described as unlimited whole-home power.

Capacity translated into everyday use

What does a 10.24 kWh battery mean in practice?

The EVO’s 10.24 kWh nominal battery is an energy store. With the manufacturer-rated 95% depth of discharge, the theoretical accessible portion is around 9.7 kWh before system losses and reserve choices.

Two different limits: kWh describes how much energy is stored; kW describes how much power the inverter and battery can deliver at once. A system can have plenty of stored energy but still be unable to run every high-power appliance simultaneously.

Illustrative examples

  • Around 9–10 hours at a steady 1 kW load
  • Around 4–5 hours at a steady 2 kW load
  • A 3 kW appliance could use the same energy in a little over three hours
  • Actual EPS runtime depends on state of charge and which circuits are connected

Figures are simple energy illustrations, not guaranteed runtime. Allow for battery reserve, conversion losses, temperature, ageing and changing household demand.
