Re Mr. Solar
We were keen to have solar panels installed but were not sure of the system that would be best for us. We contacted several potential installers (some of whom did not even acknowledge our enquiries) to ask for advice and a cost estimate. Ian at Mr. Solar did get back to us quickly and fixed a date to come and talk us through possible systems and give us an estimate of the cost involved. The quote from Mr. Solar was competitive and Ian was happy to talk through the installation with us before we made our final decision. We did have quotes from nationwide companies but were keen to work with a local company.
When it came to the actual installation the team from Mr. Solar were excellent. Although we had some very challenging weather conditions with bouts of heavy rain and very low temperatures the team worked uncomplainingly and got things done more or less on schedule. Just as importantly the system is working well even in winter conditions and has been adjusted to try and meet our needs at all stages.
We feel we could recommend Mr. Solar to anybody looking for a domestic solar installation

I had a quote from Ian who was knowledgeable and straightforward with his advice. The quote was reasonable, we decided to use Mr Solar and were not disappointed. The installation went smoothly, with Ken electrician and the lads, panel installers, all doing a fabulous job.We have been generating electricity from our solar panels for approximately five weeks and we are already very pleased with the system. Company Comments; We stripped the system off the roof as only held on with a few brackets on each rail, Repaired all MC4 terminals as poor connections and arking, replaced all Solar Edge Optimisers, Solar edge inverter replaced as they had been fried.

I contacted Mr Solar pv for a quote to install a solar system on my bungalow. The quote was very competitive compared to my other enquiries which prompted me to up my game and go for a storage system which again was very competivly priced. My system was installed on time and I was surprised at just how much work was involved doing all the electrical stuff. Our electrician was first class, being both pleasant and very technically skilled. On completion I noticed how neat and tidy the install was all tucked away in the roof space.All the information I require is on an app on my phone, so I dont need to visit the roof space to see whats happening.I am very happy with my dealings with Mr Solar PV , and more importantly Im confident that their customer service is as good as it should be. Contact was excellent at all times and I felt like I was valued as a customer. Would I use them again? you bet I would.

My father had had batteries fitted to his solar panels via another company not by Mr Solar, but when it came to put in his figures for his payment, they had generated very little. He contacted the company who promised to come out on numerous occasions but never came back. Dad contacted Mr Solar who was happy to help and found the inverter had not been set up right. Thanks to mr Solar everything is back up and running. We are very grateful.

Great service from start to finish from Ian and the team. Ian made the initial home visit to discuss my options and review what as already installed. The supplied quote covered all my requirements at a great price and the installation was all completed in good time. I would thoroughly recommend them and find local companies to be far cheaper and professional than the ‘cold calling’ national ones!

WOW!

In these times of mediocrity how refreshing to receive such a service from a local company. Within a week of visiting us the install began with 6.8KV of solar panels and 19KW of battery storage. Forget the national companies as this was by far the cheapest quote we had. Save money and go local, you will not be dissapointed.

replaced a faulty inverter in a very awkward loft. did a sterling job, the guys were friendly and helpful, and tha lady in the office couldn’t have helped more. Would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent service
Just had solar panels fitted by Mr Solar and already saving on electricity on a dull January day! Ian was very informative when doing the quote (which was competitive). The fitters, Russell and Haydon, were excellent – hard working, polite, respectful and tidy, even when they were on the roof in a snow storm. Early days but looking good.

Help and advice when it is needed.
I purchased my system from Mr Solar just over a year ago and have had excellent performance from the system. I view my daily intake etc from an app on my phone. Due to building works near to me, we recently lost internet connection for over 4 days and nights. When we got the net back, I noticed my app had re connected but changed. I was getting power from the panels but the battery wasnt giving it up when needed. On an off chance, I phoned Mr Solar,s office on a Saturday for help and within a couple of hours, Ian was on the phone sorting the problem remotely.
He had got my message while at home but chose to respond anyhow. I cant tell you how rare and valued that kind of service is in this day and age and a serious point to consider when considering who to purchase your system from. Thanks Mr Solar.
