Eurener Terracotta Solar Panels

Eurener coloured solar modules

Terracotta solar panels that blend with clay-tiled roofs.

Eurener’s MEPV Terracotta range uses N-type TOPCon technology with RAL 8001 coloured glass and frame. It is designed for properties where visual integration is as important as energy generation.

Designed for visual integration.

Standard black solar panels can look prominent on orange or red clay tiles. Eurener colours both the module glass and anodised frame so the array reads more like part of the roof.

This makes the range particularly relevant for heritage properties, conservation areas, visible roof slopes and design-led renovations. Planning approval is never automatic, but a named RAL colour and manufacturer datasheet give the application a clearer architectural basis.

Current range: 360–375 W single-glass terracotta modules and a 400 W dual-glass bifacial model, all using N-type TOPCon technology.

Current terracotta options

  • 360–375 W single-glass modules
  • 400 W dual-glass bifacial module
  • RAL 8001 terracotta finish
  • N-type TOPCon cells
  • Residential size below 2 m²
The trade-off

Better blending, lower power density than premium black panels.

The coloured surface reduces the amount of light reaching the cells. Eurener’s 400 W terracotta dual-glass module is rated at 20.02% efficiency, compared with up to 22.8% for Canadian Solar, 23.8% for Trina and 25.0% for AIKO’s current black residential ranges.

Why choose it

A visually acceptable 400 W panel may enable solar on a roof where a conventional black array would be undesirable or difficult to approve.

What to expect

A larger panel count or roof area may be needed to reach the same kWp as a premium high-efficiency black module.

Planning first

Listed buildings and some conservation-area projects can require specific consent. We recommend checking before equipment is ordered.

How many terracotta panels might be needed?

Ten 400 W modules create a 4.00 kWp array. Twelve create 4.80 kWp, sixteen create 6.40 kWp and twenty create 8.00 kWp.

We will also consider module dimensions, usable roof space, orientation, shading, inverter design and whether the array is intended to support battery storage, EV charging or a heat pump.
