Sigenergy’s SigenStor platform can bring the energy controller, battery modules, system gateway and compatible charging options into one ecosystem. The useful question is which components your property actually needs.

Storage capacity can be configured from modular battery units rather than treating every home as the same.

Capacity translated into everyday use

Build capacity around the energy profile.

SigenStor is modular, so the useful starting point is how many kWh the home needs between charging opportunities—not the largest stack that will fit.

Two different limits: kWh describes how much energy is stored; kW describes how much power the inverter and battery can deliver at once. A system can have plenty of stored energy but still be unable to run every high-power appliance simultaneously.

Illustrative examples

  • 5 kWh of available energy is roughly 5 hours at a steady 1 kW load
  • 10 kWh is roughly 10 hours at 1 kW, or 5 hours at 2 kW
  • A kettle or oven creates a high short-term power demand even though it may not use many kWh overall
  • EV charging can consume a domestic battery quickly unless it is deliberately scheduled

Figures are simple energy illustrations, not guaranteed runtime. Allow for battery reserve, conversion losses, temperature, ageing and changing household demand.
