Low-cost solar and battery loans for Suffolk homeowners
Eligible Suffolk homeowners can apply directly to Lendology for £2,000 to £15,000 towards solar PV, battery storage and other approved energy improvements. The current representative rate is 2.2% APR.
A council-backed route to spread the cost of home energy improvements.
The Warm Homes Suffolk Loan is provided by Lendology CIC in partnership with Suffolk County Council. It is separate from Mr Solar and is not tied to Octopus Energy or another energy supplier.

Interest rate
The representative APR is 2.2%. This is a low-interest loan, not an interest-free offer.
Repayment term
Repayments are fixed, with flexibility to make overpayments or settle early without an early-repayment charge.

Warm Homes Suffolk Loan FAQs
Is this an interest-free solar loan?
No. The current scheme states 2% fixed interest and 2.2% representative APR. It should not be confused with an older restricted interest-free trial.
Is the loan only available if I use Octopus?
No. This is a Suffolk County Council and Lendology scheme. The homeowner selects a suitably accredited contractor and submits the required quotations.
Can I choose Mr Solar?
Mr Solar holds the relevant solar and electrical accreditations. The final contractor and quotation must still satisfy Lendology and the scheme requirements.
Can the loan fund a battery without new solar panels?
Solar battery storage is listed as an eligible type of work. Lendology makes the final funding decision, and Mr Solar must first confirm that the proposed battery installation is technically suitable.
Does Mr Solar arrange the finance?
No. Customers apply directly to Lendology. Mr Solar can survey the property, design the system and provide an installation quotation.
Start with a clear solar and battery quotation.
Mr Solar can assess the roof, electrical supply and energy use, then provide the detailed quotation and specification needed to compare your options.
