1. Safety First                         

• Ensure the system is powered off (if possible) to avoid any electrical issues.

• Use a ladder if the panels are on a roof. Consider using a harness for safety.

• Do not clean during high heat or direct sunlight to prevent the panels from cracking due to sudden temperature changes. Wait until a cool day or evening time when the panels have cooled remembering to switch off the panels.

• Water: Preferably distilled water, but tap water is fine

4. Step-by-Step Cleaning Process

• Dry Debris: If there are leaves or large debris, gently sweep it off using the XR2

• Rinse: Lightly rinse the panels with water to remove dust and loose dirt. This also helps prevent scratching. Swich on supplied water pump or hose.

• Wash: Switch on the brush head, Use a mild Solar Cleaning solution to clean the panels. Go over the panels evenly

• Rinse Again: After washing, rinse with clean water to remove any cleaning residue.

• Dry: Use a microfiber cloth head to gently dry

5. Additional Tips

• Clean solar panels every 6 months or more frequently in areas with heavy dust or bird activity.

• Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, which can damage the panel’s surface.
